Drum Journey (Recording): ~15 minutes
Upper World I was drawn to Teacher's (Bell'anna's) area of the white woods, which is to the right of the main path. I knew that she would emerge from some place I did not expect, as she usually did. I sat at the edge of a pond near her house. She came to me from out of the water in a large, wooshing motion, simultaneously pulling me up into her robes. We traveled high above the ground and back into space. I peeked out of her eyes and saw the land below, tiny and barely visible from our elevation. I came out of Teacher's eyes and was held aloft before her. I asked, "What is this block I'm feeling in my chest?" Teacher told me that I was not living the work I needed to be. I had forgotten that she and the other compassionate helping spirits were here for me. Kindly, she told me, "You suffer unnecessarily." She then shared that I needed to reconnect to my drumming. "Tuvan Drum Healing is what spoke to you most of all. Study it. Work with it again. Make it yours." I felt drum-beating, which began to move the tightness lodged in my chest. Teacher told me to take all my drums out of storage and keep them nearby. "Don't hide them. Play them. Work with them." She held me as we returned to the ground of Upper World. I thanked her and moved back along the path to the entry point. Along the way, I found the Buffalo drum that Lee Lujan made for me in Taos Pueblo. I picked it up and played it as I walked. Callback I placed the drum in an alcove on the right side of the Hall of Knowledge so I could return to it in future journeys. Return to Ordinary Reality
